01 / ABOUT ECC

A Jordanian E&I contractor built on site experience

Engineering Concept for Contracting L.L.C. (ECC) is an Amman-based electrical, instrumentation and electromechanical contractor established in 2018. The company was founded by engineers with more than twenty years of hands-on experience on Jordan's major industrial projects, including combined-cycle power plants, the Aqaba LNG terminal, the Disi water conveyance system and the Arab Potash and Jordan Bromine expansions.

ECC provides electrical and instrumentation engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning services to international EPC contractors, plant owners and industrial operators. Our scope ranges from discrete installation packages to complete design-and-build E&I subcontracts, executed under a certified integrated management system for quality, health and safety, and the environment.

We aim to be a long-term partner to our clients rather than a transactional subcontractor. We plan rigorously at pre-construction stage, report progress transparently throughout execution, and close out every project with complete, auditable quality documentation.

Mission

To deliver safe, compliant and on-schedule electrical and instrumentation works that our clients can commission with confidence.

Approach

Early engagement, constructability review and value engineering, followed by disciplined execution, structured testing and a complete handover.

Commitment

Zero harm to people and the environment, quality built into every activity, and accountable leadership on every site.

02 / WHY ECC

Your E&I subcontractor for EPC projects in Jordan

International EPC contractors entering the Jordanian market need a local partner that understands the sites, the owners' standards and the regulatory environment. ECC fills that role, combining local presence with the technical depth of an industrial E&I specialist.

01

Local presence and registration

ECC is a registered Jordanian company classified by the Jordanian Construction Contractors Association. We provide the local content, workforce and regulatory familiarity that international EPC contractors require, and we mobilise our own supervision, crews, site facilities and transport at short notice.

02

Industrial specialisation

Our core business is industrial E&I: gas turbine and compressor stations, mineral processing plants, conveyor systems, storage terminals and substations. Our engineers understand process plant standards, hazardous-area requirements and the interfaces between electrical, instrumentation and mechanical disciplines.

03

Single-source responsibility

We deliver detailed design, procurement, installation and commissioning under a single subcontract. This reduces interfaces, shortens approval cycles and gives the main contractor one accountable party for the complete E&I package.

04

Certified management systems

Our operations are certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015. All work is executed in accordance with approved method statements, inspection and test plans, and project-specific HSE plans.

05

Self-sufficient resources

We own the installation, testing and calibration equipment required for E&I works, from cable pulling systems and hydraulic termination tools to insulation testers and process calibrators, so mobilisation does not depend on third-party hire.

06

Complete handover

We support our clients through pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up to commercial operation, and we deliver as-built drawings, test records and quality dossiers that meet owner requirements.

03 / SCOPE

07 / FAQ

E&I contractor in Jordan: common questions

Do you work as an E&I subcontractor for foreign EPC contractors in Jordan?

Yes. A large part of our work is electrical and instrumentation subcontracting for international EPC contractors in Jordan, including Petrojet, Enppi, TAKRAF and Magotteaux. We work to the main contractor's specifications, inspection and test plans and HSE procedures, and provide the local registration, workforce and site knowledge the project requires.

Can ECC do the electrical and instrumentation design as well as the installation?

Yes. We provide detailed E&I engineering (SLDs, cable schedules, tray layouts, earthing and lighting design, instrument datasheets, hook-ups and loop diagrams), procure the materials and install, test and commission on site. You can award design, supply and installation together or separately.

Which industries and sites do you cover?

Power plants, oil and gas facilities (gas compression, LPG storage, LNG), mining and mineral processing (phosphate, potash, bromine), water infrastructure, ports and commercial buildings. We have worked in Amman, Zarqa, Aqaba, Karak, the Dead Sea area and southern Jordan.

Is ECC certified and classified in Jordan?

Yes. ECC holds ISO 9001:2015 (quality), ISO 45001:2018 (occupational health and safety) and ISO 14001:2015 (environment) certification, and is classified by the Jordanian Construction Contractors Association in electromechanical works (electrical).

What E&I systems do you install?

MV and LV switchgear, transformers, MCCs, cable trays and cabling, terminations, earthing and lightning protection, lighting, field instruments, DCS and SCADA, fire and gas detection, heat tracing, cathodic protection (ICCP), CCTV and PA systems.
